New Ventures Australia is excited to announce and support Global Skills Day, (#GSD21) an inspirational thoughts leader’s conference aiming to co-create a vision of an inclusive future for work and learning. The 1-day virtual conference is organized and chaired by Gary Bolles, work futurist, author of The Next Rules of Work and faculty Chair for the Future of Work at Singularity University.
In 2020, DELF OZ (The Digital Entrepreneur’s Leadership Forum) program series launch event featured Gary Bolles, and his then presentation, The Future of Work: Shaping Our Global & Local Reset.
Global Skills Day 2021 is a FREE worldwide virtual gathering to collaborate on the future of work and learning as we envision a post-pandemic world. The program offers inspirational keynote sessions by leaders from around the world and is geared for Employers, non-profits & NGOs, educators, policymakers, innovators, startups, labor organizations, job-seekers, catalysts, and change-makers. Breakout tracks feature topics like the Future of Work, the Future of Learning, Hacking HR, Entrepreneurship Skills, and tutorials on topics like career choice, credentials, and the neuroscience of skills.
There’s also a virtual Innovation Fair, inviting startups and providers from around the world to showcase their solutions for understanding, connecting, and maximizing human skills. World-class speakers from 27 countries include Google CMO Americas Lisa Gevelber, management guru John Hagel, Edcast CEO Karl Mehta, Mercer global lead for transformation services Ravin Jesuthasan, and Moonshots in Education author Esther Wojcicki.
