Dr Douglas Glen is former general manager of Lucas Arts Entertainment group, CEO of Imagi Studios, vice president of Sega and chief strategy officer of Mattel Toys in America. He also founded a US media and entertainment venture capital fund.  Since relocating to Hong Kong 10 years ago Doug has been actively involved with numerous Hong Kong start-ups, leveraging his networks in Japan, Taiwan and China to establish partnerships and access food manufacturers, regional distributors, big box super market chains and convenience stores including Starbucks, 7-Eleven convenience stores, Mister Donut, Carrefour and Walmart.

Doug is a serial entrepreneur with 35 years experience growing businesses from start-up through to $100+ million in revenues. Educated at MIT he founded an ad agency, a digital production studio and a media distribution company and has served on many private and public boards.

Stewart Gow is a former lawyer at Norton Rose lawyers. His family company RM Gow & Co was an ASX listed major food and laundry products manufacturer supplying Coles, Woolworths and convenience stores throughout the Asia/Pacific.

Joining Austrade in Melbourne Stewart worked with existing and emerging agribusinesses exporting globally. He was appointed Australian Vice Consul in San Francisco facilitating exports of $105m for Australian food, IT and life science companies.

 Stewart has mentored several hundred businesses to overcome growth, finance and export challenges. He established the award winning business Mentoring for Growth programs for the Queensland Government, founded Brisbane Angels and the Australian Association of Angel Investors, facilitating over $150m in start-up capital for businesses.

 He holds an MBA majoring in international marketing from the University of Queensland where as a senior business lecturer he was awarded a university and a national citation.

Dr Alick Lau is a passionate entrepreneur and has being involved with strategic and market research activities for health care start-ups in Hong Kong and the USA, NutriLab, (an infant milk formula export venture) and CareHQ, (a E-health / Online Pharmacy). He also has clothing & textile manufacturing experience within the family business.

Alick holds a doctorate in Biotechnology majoring in finance. and is well networked having shared working life between Asia and Australia, spending the last three years working with a major philanthropist to assemble a strong team in Asia with high-level industry access.

Michael Lai is a UX practitioner specializing in the area of infographic and data visualization design. His consulting experience spans across a number of different industries including government, hospitality, research, IT, science, and engineering as well as covering other aspects of the user experience including research, copywriting, training, graphic design, business analysis, and information architecture. In his spare time he works on iPhone app and hardware integration, startups, and non-profit organizations.

Andrew H. Chen is the Founder and CEO of Menuscript. Menuscript is a cloud based digital menu platform that also functions as a mobile/desktop website and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for restaurants.  He is also currently lectures a graduate course on emerging technology and entrepreneurship part-time at the School of Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to this, he also worked as a corporate consultant for 4 years, where he worked with a wide range of organizations to solve strategic issues. Through his engagements he has worked with early stage ventures, Fortune 500 companies, academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and social enterprises. Prior to this Andrew has also founded numerous other entrepreneurial ventures including Grabbit, a task outsourcing startup with 300+ freelancers. Andrew grew up in Toronto, Canada, is a graduate of University of Toronto where he graduated with high distinction and currently has resided in Hong Kong for the last 8 years. He is an active volunteer a member of the Board of Advisors of Heroes2, an non-profit NGO environmental social enterprise and Qichuang Foundation, a non-profit focusing on social work in China. In his spare time, he runs a indie band and a foodie dining club among other things.
